Shame, pure shame

Nothing works the way it should, always lagging and catching some glitches, killing battery and have most useless algorithms. Exp. I have 5 packages for customer. Its already ready to be delivered. App will sent me 5 separate times and wont be able to scan, sigh, check in or out a single time from first attempt ! 🤮🤮🤮🤮 Even 1 star is too good for it.

Battery killer lags with Google maps

Kills my battery within a couple hours. Can’t use Google maps with it because it comes up as offline.

iPhone 15 pro max

This app is killing my battery at work. I started today with 99% and at the end of the 5 hour shift I was at 40%. Please update your app to accommodate the new iPhone processor.

The app is still killing my battery! Please fix this

Buggy

Jobs are ALWAYS out of order. I have opened and closed the app, turned my phone on and off. Refreshed the jobs. Nothing makes them stay in order. It is very random, one hour they could be ordered correctly the next I’m having to scroll up and down to see what I have. Changing the settings did nothing to help.
You have to press “on my way” twice before arriving button is available. ( no problem, just weird)
Adding a Customer photo is oddly distorted, it’s like it stretches out the photo vertically.
Camera freezes and tends to crash when trying to cancel an order or finish an order. It’s like the camera button is non functional and I’ve got to close the app to try again.
Sometimes photos added for a previous order , show up on orders they don’t belong to.
Not sure if it’s the app or the navigation app I use but when I try to press the customer location and pull up their address on Waze, or Google Maps it most often says “ No location found”. I have to go back to the Bringg app and repeat and then after maybe a couple times, maybe three I can get the address. It’s not been so bad lately but especially bad with Waze as default.

Some annoying bugs

The app tells me at least 20 times a day to allow Bluetooth in my app settings BUT THERE IS NO OPTION FOR THAT. It constantly pops up even when I’m out on a delivery which is very inconvenient since I’m trying to give someone their order and not worry about stupid Bluetooth connectivity. Another annoying bug that is also ever present is that the app tells me it doesn’t have location access but then proceeds to tell me it can’t access my location all the time and only when I’m using the app which is what I want. I’m not giving my location access to an app 24/7 when it has no need for that. Regardless of all of that, the app does its job, albeit not very well but it helps me get paid. Hope to see major performance updates in the future and bug fixes.

too many distracting popups.

this app is what i depend on for my job, but it is CONSTANTLY sending me notifications that distract me WHILE I AM DRIVING! the worst offense is when i am still packaging my order for delivery, and have not even left the building yet, but i still get a notification that says, “looks like you have returned with orders that are still open...” and i have to hit a button to keep orders open, but 1/2 the time its too easy for my finger to miss and hit “mark orders as complete” AND THEN I DON’T GET MILEAGE PAY and i also have no way to contact my customer when i get lost or have a question for them.
PLEASE either let me undo mistakes like this, or give me the option to disable this BS notification because its driving me crazy!!!
i’m so tired of this crap!!!

Ehh

The idea of the app is great. It works, but it has a lot of problems. The new version has a bad bug where location is always on even when the app is closed and you're not using it. I have to turn off its location access when I'm not working now. You should be able to retract an order if you accidentally started it, but you can't. It's also a power hog and I have to keep plugging my phone in every chance I get. Apparently it's not wifi-friendly and will tell customers that their order is delayed when your phone automatically switches to cellular (who needs to conserve data, right?). Finally, I shouldn't have to sign out and then back in to change my map preferences. That's ridiculous.

Review

Easy to operate and to follow. Most important, a life, breathing person is available to answer questions and concerns.
The alert goes off often and no orders are visible and sometimes the orders get hung up and have to be entered by Walmart dispatch manually. On the weekends no one is available for issues or problems other than Walmart dispatch which does not have anything to do with technical problems and is extremely busy( wait as long as 10 minutes)first orders of the day come in for 7:45 am( otherwise the app will tell you that you are late) yet Walmart will not have orders ready before 8:00 am when they open

Issue

I have run into an issue a couple of times that is very frustrating. When you arrive at the delivery location you click on the word "Arrived". It immediately changes to "Complete Dropoff".

If you accidentally tap twice on Arrived, the order along with all of the drop off info is removed from your phone. You no longer have the ability to call or text the customer.

When tapping on the "Complete Dropoff" button, have a confirmation button appear confirming that you really are done with the order. If not, you can go back and not lose the drop off info.

Thanks for your feedback. The location of the 911 button can be easily changed for your convenience by dragging it to another place on your screen. Please reach out to us via product.support@bringg.com if you have any other questions.

Good but could be more efficient

Would be better if you could sign and tip from the app. Would also like if there was a way to go back and look at previous orders that have been cleared off the main screen. Sometimes orders disappear before I am able to reach the person, and when the order disappears I have to take extra time to call my store and get the number from them, which can be very time-consuming especially during busy hours. There should also be a no-show option to put the order on hold, that way it doesn’t completely clear just because a person didn’t show up on time.

Thanks for reaching out!

The Bringg platform allows drivers to collect proof of delivery signatures, no-show options, as well as tips right from the app. It sounds like your delivery program manager may not have these features enabled. Please speak with him or her to request that they enable these features. Your concern regarding orders orders "disappearing" could also be due to a configuration setting set by your delivery program manager.

In general, if you have any questions or suggestions, please speak with your delivery program manager, so we can prioritize any changes or improvements to your setup. Thanks again for reaching out!
