Graphic art needs some work
Im just trying to offer some helpful remarks but I'm not a fan of the aesthetics. The icon doesn't really match whats going on visually within the app itself so theres a bit of a disconnect. The text on the main menu is stretched and pixelated, and i personally wouldn't put such a busy background behind text. Just keep it plain and simple.
Otherwise i wasn't able to do much with the app yet. I don't start classes until next semester and theres nothing happening right now with the food stuff.
Good start tho. I was able to log in and stuff so that all seems to be working properly.
Better than Candy Crush!!!
Either it doesn’t work, or isn’t updated
This app is supposed to notify you when there’s free food/leftovers on campus. Two weeks ago, the app was featured on local news—I downloaded it, allowed full access to my location. In the past two weeks there have been three separate occasions that offered free food or snacks (these were on the quad), but I was never notified of these. I think the app managers/devs need to be more vigilant of free food opportunities, or at least must allow users to publish free food alerts.
This app isn’t really ideal. I understand it’s probably part of a programming project, but it isn’t exactly efficient—in terms of food alerts, a twitter account might be better as opposed to a separate app, simply because location tracking drains the phone battery.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
