Bruegger's Bagels 4+

I’ve been going to Brueggers at various locations for several decades, and I’ve always preferred Brueggers to anyplace else. Brueggers consistently makes delicious bagels. There have been at least three Brueggers locations that have closed over the years and I always drive by them and remember enjoying bagels at each of them. I also frequently bought make your own salads, which has a variety of delicious ingredients. Several times I suggested they add black beans as an option for the salads. I also consider myself instrumental in encouraging Brueggers to let your staff collect tips I saw their staff work hour after hour, always having time to smile to the customers Last, several years, I purchased the option for unlimited coffee from Brueggers. I first started getting the mugs, and then I got the cards. I would sometimes stop several times a day getting coffee. I would bring my friends to Bruegger’s to have lunch or dinner, or breakfast. Brewers became my favorite choice as a go to for my meals the loss of the card was painful Last, I would always go to Brueggers, because I had coconut iced coffee. And I loved that iced coffee. I would go out of my way to go to Brueggers to get my coffee just for that flavor. Again, a big loss. I’d like to see Brueggers expand to many different locations and return to some of the wonderful options they used to have. I also hope that they can start paying more to their staff to encourage longevity.

I go to the Bruegger’s Bagels on Brewerton Road in North Syracuse/Syracuse every Sunday or almost every Sunday and without fail the line is out the door. They are understaffed and working just as hard as they can to get our orders out and yet they do it with a smile on their face and always work as fast as they can although the process is incredibly slow. I would not normally wait for 20 minutes to get a bagel but I know how hard these folks work and what they have to deal with being short staffed with long lines each and every day. So thank you for all of your hard work and making my Sundays which are my only day off which is my only day off the best that I can be.

I wanted to use the app to order 2 dozen bagels. Should be pretty straight forward, right? Wrong! I looked at the “bagel bundles,” but the flavors were already set, and I didn’t want those. I also didn’t need the cream cheese. So I ordered the bagels separately- and it said the total was $46. For 2 dozen bagels?? So I call and explain what I’m trying to do, and the manager says they charge a lot more if you order the bagels like that. She says I have to go ahead and order the bagel bundles online, then immediately call her and tell her to change the bagel choices to the ones I want. I’m not mad at the manager - she was actually going out of her way to help me. But this is ridiculous. There is no way, using the app, to just order 2 dozen bagels— no cream cheese, and just the (4) flavors I wanted. Finally I go to pay, and it asks me “what funds I want to put on my account.” Why can’t I just pay for the order directly, with my credit card, like you do on every other food ordering app?? This app was useless - it would have been a lot easier to just forego the rewards points and call in the order.
