Brushstroke Pro for iPad 4+

Love you guys for introducing this new application

Love you guys. This application gives me hope for the future of my artworks. Please keep working on it to make it more professional (obviously, adding more features to it).

My request at this point: I think the “Signature section” (Especially handwritten) needs some work. I always prefer thin/sharp lines while writing with the pen.

Can’t save with a horrid menu system

Really really annoying menu system now. Try to save in every format and it won’t. Menu was bad before, now it is worse if that is possible. For the price, you don’t get much or ANY improvements. Don’t buy, it is a waste of money and harder to use. On top of that it said you can save in keyboard commands😂😂😂. That would be great if this app brought up the keyboard, but it does not, since it runs in full landscape mode. I guess this company wants YOU to buy an external keyboard so you can save? Sort of ransoming your artwork💰 Basically there are only a few more watercolor styles in this. The one thing that this stupid app pushes is printing your photos to their printer partner site for a beyond insane amount of money so they can split the money robbing YOU! I already have printers that do a beyond professional job for one quarter the price and I get them framed locally for way less money with the wood or metal frames I like.

Just to help clarify, while there are new optional key commands that can be used if you have a keyboard connected to your iPad, a keyboard is completely optional and not required. In addition, while we allow you to ship canvas prints with our printing partner, this feature is also completely optional, and many of our users choose to make their own prints with paintings produced from our app.

We’re hoping to improve our documentation going forward so that these points are clearer to new users.

We also wanted to point out some new features and enhancements in Brushstroke Pro that may be worth exploring further compared to Brushstroke. For instance, Brushstroke Pro has increased resolution and various detail levels, rather than one, to allow for differing degrees of abstraction and realism. There are also no limits on export resolution. We’ve found these features to be especially useful for our customers who wish to make their own prints at home.

You can also save your work as a project, so you can work on it later and even share the project between devices, like iPads and Macs running Brushstroke Pro. This also allows you to save a project with a preset of options you like and import new images or videos to use those settings at a later time.

There are new adjustments for more fine-tuning of your artwork. For example, you can now increase shadows and highlights, as well as adjust hue, grain, and the appearance of the edges of paint strokes. We have even more customization options coming soon to the Pro version in a free update.

You can “favorite” your most used painting styles, color palettes, and canvases by tapping and holding, such that they are easily accessible when starting a new project.

There is a None style new to Pro that does not apply brushstrokes to your photo but still lets you use a canvas, a color palette, and adjustments.

For signing your artwork, you can now import your real-world signature from a photo and manage multiple signatures for use in different artwork.

Video also now supports improved resolution and detail, as well as options to use the native frame rate of the video and pro-minded features like exporting with Apple ProRes.
