Modulate your analog gear by sending control voltages through the headphone jack.
Signals are in the range of +- 0.5V.
The Brute LFO is a powerful low frequency oscillator module that modulates your analog gear in many different ways.
It consists of three separate LFOs. LFO 1 and 2 can be combined to create unique waveforms. LFO 3 acts as a frequency modulation for the other two oscillators.
For extra expressivenes you can use the touch pads to control your synth.
The Oscillators can produce signals as low as 0.2Hz and go up to 150Hz.
There is a special "brute mode" that creates wild, out of control waveforms.
Midi support is available.

Wow. It should feel this good always. The touch response was lightening quick. Logical GUI to the and hand. There was a level of science to this app which you can feel through your whole body. Let me say it again WOW. The pureness of sound through the iPad pro floored me. Other sound synthesis apps don’t sound as science as the Brute does. Reduction of LFO into rhythms is always a fascinating experience. I look forward to the app developers future tools. I hope you can establish the connectivity of being an audio unit or at least interfacing with garageband. Love it. Can we hook a theremin up?
A lot of fun on my Minibrute 2 and Microbrute (haven’t tested the midi functionality).
Would be nice to have support for breakaway cable for L/R channel individual LFO’s or at least single-channel output to leave the other channel free for another app’s output. I have to use a 2nd device for now—probably forever(?) as this app hasn’t been updated in 3 years.
Anyway, nice job!
Fantastic LFO! extremely useful utility for your modular equipment
very well thought out and highly functional, I really like how versatile it is. bpm function is great too!
