Ratings and Reviews
Some complaints that could be addressed in a firmware update.
After a year of use, I do have to admit, I loved the Brydge Pro when i got it, and I’ve started using the Brydge Pro+, and i love it too.
Despite this, i do have several complaints about it, which are, based off my prior research, shared by a majority of the Brydge Pro+ community. For one, the lack of a right click is not only unconventional, but is also extremely difficult to get used to. A firmware update could easily set the trackpad to register a click from the right side of the trackpad as, instead of a left click, a right click. The 2 finger gesture is harder to get used to by far.
2nd, key remapping. A key remap function could be built into the app, allowing certain function or even regular keys to be remapped, similar to a macro key.
Besides those 2 complaints, the keyboard and its trackpad are great, but if Brydge can’t fix at least the right click function, then, as unfortunate as it may be, it’s a deal breaker.
I hope the devs take these complaints seriously into consideration.

Hi there - we certainly do take feedback into consideration, which leads to some great news. We’ll be releasing a new firmware update in April that brings native multi-touch capabilities to the Pro+ trackpad. As an existing customer, we’d love you to join our beta program and get early access. Visit our website for all the details.
Best Keyboard on the market with a few minor issues
This keyboard has great feel and travel, wasn’t expecting this when I first started typing. Attention to detail is second to none, this seems like something Apple could’ve manufactured! The backlit keys are something you get on a $1000 laptop so you know this is a premium product as is with the nice cold brash aluminum chassis. However, the star of the show is the trackpad as its one of the first keyboards available with this besides the Magic Keyboard from Apple. One neat touch is that the keyboard seemingly gets better with time due to software updates, but in my case the keyboard is stuck on firmware 1.02 but the update software is 1.03 don’t know how to address this at the moment. Additionally, please update software to include side scrolling with two fingers, going back in the browser with two finger gestures, swipe up to unlock iPad instead of hitting the space bar as I do now; lastly maybe the bottom portion of trackpad can be used like a windows device (right click please) Side note: This is now a full fledge media creation device now, not just for content consumption!

Better, not perfect
I’m using the first firmware update on its day of release. Trackpad performance is improved compared to stock, but still not perfect.
Vertical and horizontal scrolling still have an “overshooting” problem. Rapid finger movements on the trackpad are still missed. Two finger tapping to pull up a secondary menu works inconsistently. Still doesn’t have all the feature other trackpads have- it’s missing pinch to zoom and all the three finger gestures.
Hopefully these initial improvements are a sign that Brydge’s users can expect additional improvements in future updates. I owned the original Brydge keyboard for the iPad Pro 2018, a quality product, which the Pro+ lives up to keyboard wise. It still need more trackpad refinement.
