Buckhorn Springs’ beautifully maintained, 18-hole golf course was designed by Harris Green to delight our members time and again. Situated at the highest elevation in Hillsborough County, our 72-par course not only features challenging slopes that are rare to find in the Tampa Bay area but also excellent drainage to ensure playable greens throughout the year. Perfect, because you’re sure to want to play a round as often possible. Our lush, demanding greens feature scenic views and are home to frequent tournaments and other challenges to keep you engaged.

Buckhorn Springs is the oldest private golf and country club in the Brandon/Valrico area. Established in 1965 and opened for play in 1968, Buckhorn Springs Golf & Country Club features scenic views, natural springs, and the highest elevation in Hillsborough County. This private country club enjoys an excellent reputation for its tricky greens, welcoming atmosphere, engaging social events, and the best “green tee” game in the Tampa Bay area.

Since its inception, Buckhorn Springs has been known as a great “everyday” course. Buckhorn members never grow bored of these 18 holes. Whether it’s for a weekly tournament or a quick afternoon nine, the distinctive layout and demanding greens challenge members week after week.
