Description

The Buffer Safari extension allows you to schedule posts to Buffer (https://buffer.com). By using this tool, you will be able to create and schedule your social media content faster from anywhere on the web. As we add updates to Buffer.com, you’ll automatically get the new features here, too!

Post the articles you find while browsing directly to social media, or to your social media queue for future scheduling. We integrate with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and Pinterest. The content that you add is automatically synced to your account on desktop and mobile.

The Buffer Safari extension integrates directly into various websites and allows you to share content more easily. You can enable the integration for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, to name a few.

A nifty "Share image” button will also appear to help you share the perfect images for social media throughout the web more fluidly.

Come give Buffer a try! Sign up for free at Buffer.com.

Simple and Useful

The app works as advertised when you set it up correctly. There are a few limitation but as a developer, they have more to do with the security setting of your Mac.

No overlay

would love for this to have an overlay instead of opening new tab. . . been doing this for at least a year. I have asked via twitter dms how to fix or if it's me or the app. Any answer would be nice.

Developer Response ,

Sorry we no longer have the overlay option in the extension. Unfortunately due to the various privacy improvements in many of the browsers we've not found a reliable way to have our Composer present over the top of a page like we used to.

It's not a stand alone app

It's not clear how it runs. UI only says, you need to enable buffer extenstion on Safari. I don't use Safari.
