I can DEFINITELY tell a difference in my level of self confidence since using this app. I no longer feel nervous or unprepared or just plain dumb when I’m on an appointment. I honestly feel like “I can do this” as I’m heading to and during each appointment.
Relaxing and builds confidence
Great app for helping with relaxation, confidence, and falling asleep.
I have tried several other relaxing apps and podcasts, and Andrew Johnson's are by far the best. The content is more interesting, his voice is very soothing, and there's nothing weird or un-Christian in them. Just words to focus your mind on while relaxing, and some guided imagery like imagining muscles loosening or walking down a flight of stairs. Never believed this stuff would work but it does.
I'd love more topics, like patience, anxiety, worry, finding joy in small things, stepping away from busy-ness, focus, anger management, or whatever topics he'd like to do! I'd also love to have a couple of variants for the initial relaxing session, because I enjoy the slightly different emphases and dscriptions. Having a bundled app (only one icon) would also be fantastic. Maybe you could select from several lead-ins and several main tracks.
The real deal
I think I am immune to Hypnosis because I am a doubting Thomas, but there is something to this and it really isn't hypnosis in the classical sense where you do silly stuff and don't remember it later. I fell asleep the first few times during the relaxation intro when doing this in bed at night, but still got benefit I think. Then when doing this at day, I,ve never been so relaxed and receptive. Andrew is a master at what he does, and there is nothing hokey or silly about it. He gets you REALLY relaxed and open minded and gives you great affirmations while in that state. You are aware all the time, but definitely in a different place mentally. This is a great pick-me-up and I've bought two if his programs so far, waiting for the energy one coming in sept. I don't use this every day as they suggest, but it is great every time. It is for real and well worth the money.
