Love this app!!!

This location app is one of the best I’ve used! It is precise and accurate compared to the others out there. Allows you to track close friends in one app instead of having multiple. You can get direction to your friends and family, via walking or driving. You can send love to your friends and knock on your friends who you might need to get ahold of. This is also very clear to use. Definitely recommend for others who are looking for a better location app for their friends and family.

Scratch map for friends?

I downloaded this app because it looked cool and I got a few friends to download it with me with the intention of being able to compare scratch maps with each other. Maybe I’m confused on how to view their scratch map or maybe it’s a major missing feature but if I’m just missing it then it must be hard to find. My friends and I have all tried figuring out a way to view each other’s maps. We already all have find my friends so their live location doesn’t make this an exciting social app. I love the scratch map part of it and really that’s the only reason I have the app. To see what parts of the city I’ve explored. Being able to see my friends’ and making it a social app would be a plus. Some of the other features get crowded on the screen so I wish they would focus more on the scratch map. Can anyone tell me if there is a way to see my friends scratch maps & I’m just missing it? Or if that is a feature that is coming soon? When I click on any one of my friends, I see no scratch map. It’d be cool if you can compare your scratch map of the same area with a friend where yours and theirs are overlayed in different colors on the screen. Additionally, I have friends that live in different states so if I can only view info on areas I’ve also been before, it doesn’t make it very social for us. (I’m in Chicago, my friends are in New York & Boston). Would bump (lol) this up to a 5 star if that was a thing. TYTY

This is such thoughtful feedback — thank you! 💙 You’re not missing anything — right now, you can only see where you rank vs friends in terms of % uncovered of areas. But the good news is that we have a really big update coming soon that's going to make your friends' scratch maps more visible. Keep an eye on our Instagram account to know when the update is live: @bumpbyamo. Hoping we can get bumped up to 5 stars soon ⭐️

Big Bad Buzz

It’d be great if there was a quick intro explaining what the app is about. I just kind of stumbled across it and thought I’d check it out. The account setup and welcome flow were actually pretty smooth, and I liked that.

It recommended some people I could add as friends. But then, after the third add -BAM- a super loud buzz and this screen full of harsh, flashing colors. It was really jarring. I get that it was supposed to be some kind of warning message about adding strangers, and I totally understand the importance of that. But if that’s coming, then maybe don’t guide the user into adding random people in the first place. It’s a really weird and jarring transition, and just feels like a bad flow and design decision.

Accessibility clearly wasn’t considered here, and for people with sensory sensitivities or epilepsy, that kind of experience could be dangerous. I immediately deleted the app and left this review because the UX just wasn’t acceptable. Just something to think about, good UX shouldn’t be a health hazard.
