Buttons lets you create your own custom buttons complete with beautifully rounded corners, crisp text, and gorgeous gradients. Buttons will help you create the buttons of your dreams.
Create multiples states
Buttons lets you design the different button states: normal, pressed, hover, and disabled. You can even quickly and easily adjust properties for multiple button states all at the same time.
Preview your buttons
Buttons boasts a wonderful time saving feature that lets you preview the different states of your buttons. Make the preview window transparent and see what your button looks like when placed over your website or application design.
1) How to make changes that affect more than one button:
Holding down the Command key when selecting a state (Normal, Pressed, Hover & Disabled) will add or remove that state from the current selection. When making a change all selected states are affected.
2) Where to find sample buttons:
Sample buttons can be found in the Help menu under “Download samples”.
3) Why do my buttons not look the same in Internet Explorer?
Internet Explorer has limited support for some CSS features such as gradients, rounded corners, drop shadows and inner shadows so your CSS buttons may not look as expected in IE. If this is the case, you can choose to export your buttons to PNG instead of CSS.
Users of retina laptops. Exported images will be at twice the dpi size. E.g. Web images will appear at 144dpi instead of 72dpi.

Ratings and Reviews
Great and Simple!
Now that the PNG export issue has been fixed, Buttons is once again my go-to design app for buttons. Buttons provides a simple interface to create nice looking and high quality button images.
Very useful and saved me time
I was able to create exactly the buttons I needed for my site.
I had a few questions and the support team got back to me right away. You can edit multiple buttons at once by just holding down the command key when selecting the different button types: normal, pressed, hover and disabled. After learning this, it was a huge time saver.
Not bad for a 1.0 release
Buttons does make good looking buttons. It is a bit awkard that the app can't be resized vertically when grabbing the bottom-right corner of the app (edit: nvm, you can drag the bottom to resize, but the drag area is below the app itself in the drop shadow area instead of the app edges). To make the app "taller," you have to draw the app upward using the very top edge of the app. I would also like to have Buttons automatically resize and adjust the remaining button states (border radius, shadows, shadow offsets, blur, etc…) fonts, and font size based on the "Normal" button so that I don't have to go and individually fine tune each state if I don't want to. 4 button states can quickly become very tedious and repetitive if you have a lot of buttons to make.
Having offset capabilities for the button titles is a must as different fonts can place the titles higher or lower vertically. Exporting to CSS also doesn't quite display the buttons correctly under some circumstances. A way to "save" buttons into a nice list to be used as templates for future projects would also be great. Add and fix these and I will give this app a 5 star. Again, not bad for the first release. I look forward to future updates.
