Buzz App - June 2025 Update We've been listening to your feedback and are excited to bring you our latest update with improvements to make discovering and attending events even better! Enhanced Event Experience Improved Date Display Events now show dates in a more intuitive format with dynamic calendar icons and consolidated date ranges. For example, instead of seeing "Thursday, June 5, 2025 - Friday, June 6, 2025," you'll now see the cleaner "Thu-Fri, June 5-6" format when events span multiple days in the same month. Smoother Time Selection We've completely redesigned our time picker with fixed positioning to prevent jumping issues during event creation. This makes selecting start and end times much more pleasant and accurate. Smarter Event Discovery Intelligent Date Filtering Events now properly appear when they start on or span across your selected date, ensuring you never miss relevant events. This fixes previous issues where some events wouldn't show up in filtered results despite being active on your selected day. Enhanced Filter Controls We've improved filter behavior with clearer active/passive states to help you find exactly what you're looking for. The app now clearly indicates when filters are applied, making your search experience more transparent. Personalized Feed Ranking Your event feed is now smarter! Events that match multiple of your interests AND include friend connections AND are happening soon are prioritized in your feed, making it easier to discover the most relevant events for you. Location & Time Improvements Cleaner City Display We've removed country codes from city names during event creation for a cleaner, more intuitive interface. Now you'll just see "Denver" instead of "Denver, US" when selecting event locations. Fixed Timezone Handling We've resolved timezone inconsistencies to ensure events display at the correct times regardless of your location. No more confusion about when events actually start! Default Event Duration Based on user feedback, we've changed the default event length from 2 to 3 hours to better accommodate most activities, saving you time when creating new events. Bug Fixes & Refinements Form Validation We've improved validation timing to prevent error messages from flashing unnecessarily during event creation, making the form-filling experience smoother. Filter Consistency Fixed issues with filter persistence and behavior across the app, ensuring your preferences stay consistent as you navigate.
