Die BVG Ticket-App ist die offizielle App der Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe zum Ticketkauf für den öffentlichen Nahverkehr in Berlin!

Mit der BVG Ticket-App kannst du bequem Tickets für die S-Bahn, die U-Bahn, die Straßenbahn und den Bus kaufen und überall in Berlin hinreisen. Kaufe und lade dir Tickets flexibel herunter und genieße deine Fahrt. Denk aber bitte daran, dass du immer einen Lichtbildausweis mitführen musst!

Übrigens: Ab sofort kannst du das neue Deutschlandticket als Handyticket über die Website der BVG oder in unseren Kundenzentren bestellen. Es kostet 49 € im Monat und ist im Abonnement als persönliche Zeitkarte ohne Übertragbarkeit erhältlich. Mit dem Ticket kannst du den gesamten ÖPNV inklusive Regio in ganz Deutschland nutzen. Die Mitnahme von Personen oder Fahrrädern ist nicht möglich.

Wir stellen dir das Ticket rechtzeitig vor dem bundesweiten Start als Handyticket oder als elektronische FahrCard bereit. Hast du bereits ein Abo bei der BVG? Super, dann musst du aktuell nichts tun, denn wir melden uns bei dir.

Mit der BVG Ticket-App kann man lediglich Tickets erwerben, sie enthält keine anderen Reiseinformationen. Wenn du mehr zu deiner Fahrt wissen möchtest, lade dir bitte die BVG Fahrinfo-App herunter.

Vermeide langes Schlangestehen an Bahnhöfen und U-Bahn-Stationen, indem du deine BVG Ticket-App mit einer Zahlungsmethode wie Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, Kreditkarte, SEPA-Lastschrift, PayPal, Prepaid oder dem Express Verkauf (Registrierung und Zahlung mit Apple Pay, PayPal), verbindest.

Du kannst Tickets der folgenden Tarifbereiche kaufen:

• Berlin AB
• Berlin BC (C-Bereich enthält, zum Beispiel, Potsdam und Berlin Flughafen BER aber nicht Berlin zentral)

Du kannst losfahren, sobald du dein Ticket in der App gekauft hast.

Du hast bereits einen BVG-Account? Dann musst du dich nicht neu registrieren. Du kannst deinen bestehenden Account verwenden, um dich einzuloggen und um Tickets zu kaufen.

- Apple Pay hat bei einigen User*innen nicht funktioniert.
- Außerdem sind vereinzelt Tickets aus dem Ticket-Speicher verschwunden.
Beide Probleme werden mit dieser Version behoben.

Wonderful app!

This app is a lifesaver! I made an account and set it up with PayPal. Now whenever I need a ticket, I just take out my smartphone. No need to waste time going to ticket machines, waiting in line at them, or getting out cash. The electronic ticket also shows the time left on it and all the records of your ticket purchases go on your credit card.

Fined 60 eur because of this app

I habitually buy 4-ticket packs, and in the last year the transactions have gotten longer and longer (1-2 minutes of the spinner interaction - I might as well buy physical tickets) and nowadays even fail. Today I entered the train trusting that this was about to complete and it failed (all on wifi), and I was on a train with fare control and was given a 60 euro ticket. The app says that I have purchased tickets using a past credit card transaction, but no record of this visible in the app, nor any tickets are visible in app. To emphasize: this was all while being connected to bvg wifi.

The only conclusion is that using this service in its current state incurs serious risk of getting fined, not to mention inconvenience because of the length of the transaction. This service used to work well but as of now is effectively broken and should not be used for day to day tickets, and I’m probably out 60 eur because of it.

Hi, we are sorry to hear that of course and our colleagues are constantly working on the performance of the app. At the moment we can only advise that you delete the app and download it again as this clears any old cache. Please note that you have to ensure that you are in possession of a valid ticket before entering public transport.

App crashes when you need it

Also for some reason you cannot buy an ABC ticket on the app. Twice when I’ve arrived at the airport been forced to use the ticket machines.
Edit: I got a reply from the developer and apparently you can change the fare zone in order to buy an ABC ticket. This app needs improvement with UI and Ux if a user whose has purchased tickets with the app since it’s first released didn’t clearly understand how to access that feature. To clarify I was trying to use my four pack of AB tickets to buy a ticket into berlin from the airport , it did not work. (most likely because BER is in C.) Did I need to buy the C ticket first and then activate the AB ticket? Could the app tell me the next step instead of just locking me out ?

Edit 17.03.2023: Hi, it is correct that you cannot activate a section of an AB ticket in the C area with a C station and we do not advise to activate a section of an AB ticket and to buy an extension ticket in addition, as this is more expensive than buying either a single trip ticket ABC or, if you use the tickets more often a 4-trip-ticket Berlin ABC. --- Hi, that is not correct, you can buy ABC tickets with the app ;-), you need to choose the ticket you wish to buy and then click onto the field "fare zone", a pop up opens at the bottom of the screen where you can change from AB to BC or ABC.
