Bwell Health 4+

Got it to work for some of the devices and I bought them all. The scale works great and uploads right away. And also updates to health.

Except for adding the blood pressure and oxygen data to Apple health. That doesn’t work. It only works to within the app but I tried everything and it won’t sync that to Apple. The oxygen also doesn’t update to health.

Note:For those who have problems with verification for email registration I had that same issue. Turns out my ATT wifi router blocks bwell website! My wife found out all the firewall blocks our wifi was blocking on the Bwell request. So you really have to do some checks on your wifi settings.

So far happy with the app, wanted this scale because reading reviews online it seemed this would work for me. But one thing I do not like about the app is that even by what my dr wants my goal weight to be for me to be healthy with my family history and body type, this apps goal weight would have me be highly anorexic to the point I’d be the size of a prepubescent child! We should be able to set our own goal weight. It doesn’t account for genetic makeup, body structure and what our drs recommend for us. By the logic of this app along with diet and exercising I’d have to not have any muscle, get surgery to have absolutely no female presence (naturally curvy both sides of family even thin ones) and take away half of my bones along with metal rod from childhood injury to MAYBE be close to the target weight the app wants me to be. Other then that issue I feel this app is easy to understand and use. I look forward to using this on my weight loss journey.

Bought the scale and downloaded the app. It was easy to set up, and compared to my old scale is pretty accurate (there was a 1lb difference but the old one could be off). I’ve read the reviews and some of the scale problems people had could have been solved if the read the manual that came with the scale like resetting it to zero. There are 2 downsides to the app that are unfortunate but probably by design.

First is that in order for the scale to write to the app you have to have the app open and tap start measuring. It’s a little inconvenient but it’s probably so it doesn’t log the weight to the wrong device if there multiple users.

Second is that the app only writes data to apple health it does not read from it. This means that the O2 sensor in my $500 Apple Watch is useless to this app and if I want that data recorded in this app then I have to buy the BWell O2 sensor.
