CageMath combines a Sudoku-style puzzle game with math symbols. Just like Sudoku, place numbers into the grid, where each number can only appear once in a column or a row. A CageMath grid is also sectioned into heavy-outlined "cages" that each have a smaller "cage-answer" and "cage-operator" in the corner. The numbers within that cage have to equal the cage-answer using the cage-operator. Some examples:

√ 49 (What's the square root of 49?)
6- (Which two numbers can you subtract to give you 6?)
896x (Which 4 numbers can you multiply to result in 896?)

CageMath is the only math-infused Sudoku game that tests your addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and square root skills!

Features include:

- UNLIMITED, UNIQUE games at various different grid sizes
- Lifeline/hint button to reveal answers when you're stuck

Refreshed and fixed the following bugs:

* ads blocking buttons
* operator values not storing properly
* compatibility with newer iOS versions and larger screens
* a few other bugs and gameplay issues

A little off.

Most of the 7x7 puzzles are flawed in that there are multiple solutions (like 2 rows have 4 and 7 in reversible positions) if you fill it in different than they expect, it is actually still correct, but marked incorrect... not a big deal, you know this before ‘picking’ one of the solutions, so you have to swap them to ‘finish’ the puzzle.

Okay ... at best

I bought this for the kenken problems. There are two main problems that make this app disappointing. First, even on the highest difficulty setting, the problems are too easy. Second, most of the problems do not have a single, unique solution. Instead, many have two (or more) solutions. Good programming should make that impossible.

The interface is reasonably good, although it would be better if the erase feature allowed you to erase more than merely the last entry. There are two main problems , though.
