Calculator ‪+‬ 4+

Used dozens of times a week on iPhone X and iPad Pro. Newest update is 100% responsive and stable with no freezing or crashing so far. I'm sure if I need a need for scientific, it would be great also. Nice knowing I have scientific if I ever need it. This would've been nice in highschool and college, blazing fast web browser and scientific calculator all in iPhone and iPad. I used to have the newest phones and newest Texas Instruments calculator every year but wow... How things have changed. Students today have no idea how their iPhone makes so many things so simple and instant. I'm not old either. 15 years ago having a iPhone X or better and iPad Pro would've made highschool a completely different experience as far the classes and homework.

I had paid the in app purchase price for this app a couple (or more) of years ago. This has been my only calculator app for iPad. I was happy to use it regularly.
Today suddenly the app was behaving funny, it would not stay open (even after the restart cycles on my iPad). So I did what I am asked to do. I deleted the app and went back to re-download it. It showed the usual "download from cloud" symbol, and did not ask for any other authentication. It downloaded fine and when opened asked me to rate the app! (Imagine if I was a new user and opening the app for the first time....asking me to rate it before I have used it even once!). I clicked later and went to punch in my equation. Lo and behold the screen appeared asking me to pay $4.99. This has happened for many other paid apps too, no big deal. Always it says you have already purchased this app so there will be no charge (or some thing to that effect). I went ahead and allowed the transaction to go through. Sad thing is, it charged me - AGAIN. This is ROBBERY, by any standards.

I use this calculator all the time because it has all the functions for basic calculations. It's no TI-84, but I can do sine, cosine, and tangent along with logarithmic functions. If you’re looking for something that’s at least a little bit better than the Apple calculator, this is the one. I also like the fact that when you start typing there are arrow buttons that allows you to go through the problem and edit it if something was typed in wrong. In the Apple calculator, you have to simply start over what you were typing if you realized at the end of the problem that you copied it down wrong or something. The only real problem with it is that even though it is free, it asks you to upgrade 50% of the time, but I guess for me it’s not a big deal.
