Ratings and Reviews
Brilliant Idea
I love the idea. The various view options are great. I love the convenience of seeking your day, week, or month ahead of you.
On the other hand, I really miss the editing ability in Week Book. The fact that the schedule is just text instead of a link to the event is a little disappointing. To edit an event, I have to switch to a different book. If this is going to remain, please add an option to double click the day to jump to Day Book.
My only other complaint is that events that the app imports from calendar don't localize. You can edit them, but it takes an extra step, and the iCloud info doesn't translate correctly. The "view original" feature is useless. If this is going to remain, the event info should show automatically. Then make the button into an edit, similar to the stock app.
I plan on continuing to use this as my Calendar app. But please take these helpful hints to make it the best calendar app out there.
Sadly Another
It looks like another promising app has gone into no more updates land. If you have an older phone and are finding your apps slowly becoming unusable, this app might be for you. However, it looks as if this is not going to be updated anytime soon as the link to its homepage no longer works, comments speak of not being able to contact the developer, and there are bugs in ios 11+. It looked like a good idea. Sad that I won’t be able to give it an honest try. I give it 3 stars as it looks as if it was pretty decent at one time and to applaud the developer for venturing into what appears to be a field that is becoming tougher and tougher to break into and to continue to survive. It appears to be the cycle. New technology (personal computers, operating systems, the internet, cell phones, smartphones)...at first everyone and their cousin can break in to make a contribution and some money....but in the end, only the big ones (usually owned or eventually owned by the same people) survive. Just to clarify, I said it appears that the developer is not going to update anymore. It’s still in the app store, so maybe the developer will look at this post, see that there are those that see the app as promising, and be encouraged to give it one more try. Maybe it could happen?
No app support
I cannot contact app support. The page the link directs to is invalid. The app seems awesome, but I can't get the weather to work. Location services are turned on for the app, but nothing.
