CalendarMenu LE
Versatile and handy Calendar
Only for Mac
$2.99
CalendarMenu LE is a macOS menu bar application, which provides a small month calendar showing all informations you need to keep track of all your upcoming appointments in the blink of an eye. CalendarMenu LE is highly configurable and allows you to specify exactly what you want it to show. It also provides a Today Widget for the Notification Center showing a monthly calendar with markers for all your appointments.
It comes with a Widget Extension adding a convenient monthly calendar to your Notification Center, showing markers to keep close tabs on all your upcoming appointments. If you would like to see your Reminders and your Contact's Birthdays in here as well, please take a look at Calendar Menu 4.
Please note: the update frequency of WidgetKit extensions (those available on macOS Big Sur and later) depends solely on update slots assigned to it by the operating system, which in turn takes into account how regularly a widget is being shown. It will increase significantly if the main app is running in the background, so this is highly recommended - albeit not necessary.
more This update should hopefully fix the menu bar popover's misplacement issue on several macOS Tahoe installations and multi-display setups for good. I've ended up completely rewriting the respective piece of code, so it should now work as expected, regardless of the system settings in terms of menu bar and dock auto-hiding or display alignments in multi-display setups. Sorry about this, and that it took me so long to finally being able to solve this issue.

4..0.20 12/17/2023
The WidgetKit extension (the one available on macOS Big Sur and later) should now be able to update itself. However the update frequency of this kind of widget depends solely on update slots assigned to it by the operating system, which in turn takes into account how regularly a widget is being shown. It will increase significantly if the main app is running in the background, so this is highly recommended - albeit not necessary.
Fixed several other, minor issues

- The contextual menu of list views has gotten a few additional entries
Bugfixes:
⁃ fixed opening calendar events and reminders in their respective system app
⁃ the status bar panel sometimes showed a wrong year in January for system regions using the ISO 8601 calendar
⁃ the app's status bar item now uses the correct appearance (Dark/Light) matching the current desktop wallpaper (macOS 11.0 or later)
⁃ deselected checkboxes of the calendar and reminder list "View" settings were hardly visible on newer macOS versions
⁃ reduced background CPU load a bit, notably on older Macs
⁃ ditched the bugging "app rating" reminder inside the list views for good, seems it sometimes still showed up way more often than intended. Sorry about that…
