Calling help…

I would say that for most any elk or duck hunter one of their favorite parts is calling, communicating with their quarry. Having the ability to fool a bull or drake is such a rewarding experience. The problem is how many of us are actually successful at consistently doing that. Sure on the perfect day calling in a bull can be easy, or the day You are set up on the “X” where the ducks already want to be it can be easy. But how often do we find ourselves in that perfect situation…
This series will help hunters to improve their calling ability to help us find success on those not perfect days.

Solid Teaching

I’m really enjoying the lessons created by the staff at slayer. It really helped me grasp calling this year and get a little bit better. They have really upgraded the rhythm to which I called ducks. I wish they would have a zoom call or other way of listening to my calls live and be able to give me some instant feedback. However the videos are great. I just record myself calling and then play it side-by-side with their videos where they’re teaching me how to call. And that’s work so far. But I would say any beginner would really benefit from their teaching.

Big upgrade over other apps!

The folks at Slayer really stepped up the calling education game with this app. The content, user interface, and ease-of-use is top notch! I in particular, I like how the educational content is broken down in more digestible segments. With this format, I don’t have to cue through tons of video to find the specific aspects of calling that I’m trying to work on. In fact, I am proud to say my lip bawl went from embarrassing to very respectable almost overnight. Thanks, Slayer! I can’t wait to try out waterfowl!
