Description

Mass block UNLIMITED phone number ranges using wildcards and stop spammers once and forever!

NO registration, NO subscription, NO extra fees!

Real-life example:
I receive calls from numbers that appear to be similar like +1 415 121 1111, +1 415 122 1111 and so on.
Using the following rule: "+1 41X XXX XXXX" will block all numbers that included from +1 410 000 0000 to +1 419 999 9999!

Just enter the phone number's country code prefix (e.g. 1 for the U.S.), enter the phone number (including the area code) that you want to range block and block it with a 8-digit precision.

Call Ranger is able to block UNLIMITED phone number combinations using only ONE app extension which makes it faster and more efficient than any other similar app on the App Store.

HOW TO SETUP:
1) Make sure that the Call Ranger extension is enabled by navigating to the iOS Settings -> Phone -> Call blocking & identification.
2) Open the CallBlocker app, navigate on the Settings page and make sure that the "Block unwanted calls" switch is ON.
3) Tap on the “Range number list" option (Range Blocking) and enter the country code prefix of the number that you want to block (e.g. you receive calls from number "+1 123 456 7899" , you should add "1" on the textfield), tap "Next".
4) Enter α phone number that you wish to block (e.g. you want to block all calls from "+1 123 XXX ΧΧX” (X is a wildcard and stands for every digit), then add "123456789” on the textfield) and tap "Next".
5) Select the number range that you want to block by tapping on the respective option (e.g. for the number "+1 123 456 789” using the 7-digit option, it will block all ranges of numbers from "+1 120 000 000" to "+1 123 999 999" which means 10,000,000 million combinations.
Then wait until the process finishes and this will take some time, it’s totally normal and depends on your device speed

Enjoy a spam-free experience with Call Ranger!

Some bugs but works

Initially I thought this is a scam. The extension doesn’t show up in settings no matter how many times I restart the program or reboot the phone. However, after I install another scam blocking app, it magically show up in the extension. And it is working perfectly fine afterwards.

Dear nicknicksomewhat,
thank you very much for your rating and review!

READ BEFORE PURCHASING

I’ve been getting hammered with telemarketing from one specific state, so was looking for an app that would block calls from specific area codes. Unfortunately, this app is not up for the challenge. Calls were still being received. I thought possibly I had the app set up incorrectly so I reached out to “customer support” which is an email located in Greece. I reached out twice and there was no response. Completely ghosted. I’ve already filed a complaint with Apple and now leaving a review as a warning to all others hoping to find an app to help reduce spam calls. DO NOT PURCHASE!!!

App is great, but there's a bug

I find this app very useful for blocking spam/scam calls both domestic and international, but I've noticed that when it tries to load its list of blocked number ranges, it crashes. There's a bug of some kind that needs to get addressed for the app to work properly.

Developer Response ,

Dear jeffreygolden,
thank you for your kind words, we’re really happy that the app meets your expectations. Regarding the bug you mentioned, we’re going to investigate it and provide a fix in an update.
