Take a deep breath. That phrase greets you whenever you open Calm. It’s both a call to action and a defining feature of the app’s approach to meditation: You’re going to get through this, and all you need to start is a moment. In the increasingly crowded field of apps for meditation and mindfulness, Calm stands out for its ease of use and attention to (soothing) detail.

  • Essential to my overall wellness

    SpelmanRho

I can’t say enough good things about the Calm app. Without it, I would not have been introduced to or be able to continue my meditation practice, which is greatly helped ease my anxiety, and even benefited my prayer life. With its tools to help focus, meditate, and sleep, it is an all-around essential tool to help support overall physical and mental wellness. I often share the meditations with my family and friends.

  • Accessibility for people who are blind

    CQgusto123

Overall, I love Calm! It helps me in various areas of life, but unfortunately, a lot of the material is not accessible to people who are blind or have limited site. None of the pictures have descriptions or the videos have audio descriptions, frowny face. I hope Calm can make this improvement because it will not only help us, it helps overall like in search engine optimization.

  • A way to calm and unplug

    Angel Reante

I’ve been using calm for years and it just keeps getting better. The sleep stories are easy to fall asleep to. I’ve rarely heard how they end and that’s a good thin. I love the reminder to take a breather every time I open the app. There’s not much that could make it better but 1 thing would be the ability to make a playlist of some of my favorite stories or other audios in the app.

  • When you need a little something to reset

    Footackular

I find utilizing this app at minimum on a daily basis of 10 minutes helps keep my day centered. I find a way to just relax a little bit more. Even with the stresses of the day. There’s a lot of areas on this app that I like but the number one thing that I like is the daily trip if you’re trying this app out, make sure you give Jeff a try. 🙏

  • Great for pain management!

I love my Calm app! I have used it for a few years now. It helps me through my pain flares, it helps me to remember my breath work and to relax my body. I use it especially when I fly overseas and my pain is really bad. I have hEDS and fibromyalgia. I love the soundscapes and the binaueral options. I do wish that there would be a deaf person option to turn the volume up two to four clicks. I have the volume all the way up now and I think i miss some of the sound.✨🖤
