This application will do the following:
1. Informs farmworkers of their rights under California state law and sends notifications when the temperature rises to ensure they are taking their legally mandated break.
2. Offers resources to educate new farmworkers about how to ensure their own safety while working in the fields.
3. Helps new farmworkers become acclimated to the heat by sending them frequent reminders to stay hydrated.
4. Provides farmworkers a tab with the contact information of various essential services.
5. Uses Fitbit® bands to monitor the activity levels of farmworkers. Access to health data allows workers to better monitor their symptoms and protect themselves from the heat.
