Caltrain+ is a Caltrain schedule and trip planning app that lets you quickly and easily figure out which train to take to get you from Station A to Station B. Additionally you can view full timetables, service alerts, and a system map all from within the app.

To use Caltrain+, simply select the station you want to depart from, the station you want to arrive at, and the timetable (Weekday or Weekend), and Caltrain+ will show you a complete list of every matching train you could take along with its number, service type (i.e. Local, Limited, or Baby Bullet), departure and arrival time, and trip duration. Optionally specify an “arrive by” time to filter the list of trains to only include those which will get you to your destination station before the specified time. You can also view the full list of scheduled stops for a particular train just by tapping on it.

Lifesaver!!

Thank God for this new app!! I was a long time user of CaltrainMe before the pandemic but hadn’t even opened it since then because of working from home. With my office finally reopened and needing to commute again, I was so sad to discover that CaltrainMe was no longer working 😭 But then I came across this app, Caltrain+, and thank God I did! It’s a perfect replacement for CaltrainMe and does exactly what I need it to! Just like with CaltrainMe, I just pick my origin and destination stations and get a list of trains that I can take to get to work, and at the end of the day I can quickly switch the origin and destination stations with just one tap to figure out which train to take to get back home. Thank you so much to the developer for creating this app!! You’re a lifesaver!!

Fantastic App

It’s crazy that the normal Caltrain app doesn’t do this, but I’m so glad the developer of this app is keeping the timetables up to date. Use this near daily and will for the foreseeable future. Thank you!

Can’t live without it. Kudos to the lone developer who provides this. So much better than battling the Caltrain website. Thanks!
