A useful idea with potential.

CAM2 has long been the FARO internal/external standard, with one main complaint - you are 'tied' to your laptop/notebook/desktop pc for every measurement. This handy little tool, though thinned down in capability, seems to bring some commonly used tasks to the popular iPhone, iPod, and even iPad/iPad2 platforms.
While the interface seems fairly straight forward, the connection does become unstable from time to time (which has long been the issue with some software on the IOS platform). What would be great would be a Bluetooth connection directly to the FARO hardware running a slimmed version of a suite like the old digital caliper package.

Not very excited about app

I was excited about the app, until I realized and was informed by our instructor that the app only works via wifi, and requires a computer with a wifi connection to work. If this app could be updated to work via Bluetooth, then everything changes, please update app to work with Bluetooth which the arm and my iPad already have!
