Camera Record HD - Capture Video Recorder 4+

Basic recorder but does what I need. I like that files are created automatically unlike QuckTime player where I have to select "save as" every time.
The main feature that is missing for me is the ability to change audio quality settings. It allows to select overall bitrate but the audio quality is fixed. I use it to record myself playing guitar so I care more about audio quality.
The feature I think it shouldn't have is the close confirmation dialog. There is no information to lose even if I close it accidentally, so it doesn't need a confirmation, or at least it should be configurable. As it is now it requires extra click to close.
Also I noticed a bug, when the first video after I change Logitec settings for Standard/Widescreen is sometimes stretched vertically.

It’s basic but does not pretend to be anything else. I really just want to use it to download video from my old DV video recorder to mpg/ mp4 format.
Initially I was ready to set it aside as useless due to poor performance and a lack of understanding how the editor worked. I think the product would really benefit from a rudimentry User Guide inside the App.
The app provides a reasonable amount of settings but I have little understanding of what is optimum. So, after some trial and error ( App freezes making some selections) I worked out what works well for me and what did not. I downloded video into .mov format ( only one that worked). After that I used the Edit function ( again after some trial and error) to convert to mp4 format.

A little cumbersome but works. The output ( mp4) worked fine when played on my video player.

When I want to check my camera position or make a quick video this is my GoTo App! One click gets me there and shows me everything I need to know.
