After using Hallmark Card Studio for Mac for many years, I decided it was time to look for an alternative. After trying Cardia, I can confidently say it was the right decision.Cardia focuses on the essentials of card creation rather than providing large libraries of clip art, templates, or pre-written sentiments. As an artist, that's exactly what I was looking for. The software makes it easy to use my own artwork and create personalized cards without unnecessary distractions.Installation was quick and straightforward. After watching the introductory video, I was able to learn the basics and begin printing cards within minutes. The user interface is clean, intuitive, and easy to navigate.One of my biggest concerns was printing, since printing issues were the primary reason I stopped using my previous software. Cardia's printing process turned out to be remarkably simple. Printing both sides of a card is easy, and the instructions are clear and easy to follow.What truly sets Cardia apart, however, is its customer support. Every question I had was answered promptly, thoroughly, and professionally. A Total Waste of Time and Money

This was my initial review and it still stands: First let me say the customer support is very responsive but then let me say what a waste of time it is to interact with customer support; I have my interactions saved so if anyone would like to see their responses to me just let me know. I wanted a simple straightforward app to teach senior citizens card making. Personal card making. This app claims to be simple but I can tell you the only thing simple about it is the design. The print preview is not an accurate depiction of your end product and you cannot move things from one page to another. I could go on and on but what’s the point … this app is not worthy of the App Store. This was my initial review. Then I received a reply from the developer through Apple. Suffice to say I stand by my review. I am not the only one with this opinion and doubt I will be the last. Funny thing about this developer is the willingness to accept mediocrity. I am surprised that Apple is so willing to accept mediocrity.

Hello - I would like to address all of your issues. You first wrote us Friday morning at 6:50 am and we responded in great detail to your question at 8:45 am and suggested you restart your computer and you replied that fixed the problem. We gave you step by step instructions on how to create a screenshot and asked you to send us one showing the problem and you did not do that. You then wrote back with "Being familiar with ‘layers’ I wrongly assumed if a layer was highlighted/selected I could work with that layer". This is concerning because Cardia is built on the concept of layers and that's what you work with? Everything in Cardia is a layer. You said "I do understand there is a learning curve and sometimes it’s not good when other experience gets in the way 😉. Could be that is my biggest problem!". We wrote back and said we would be around all weekend if you had any questions at all. Monday morning you wrote us and said your were not happy because there is no way to move items from one page to another. First, in the four years we have been making Cardia no one has ever asked for that feature. (I offered to add that to the next version). Your next issue was "the print preview is not an accurate depiction". If the print preview function was not working we would have heard about that by now. Print previews work two ways, not only the macOS print preview but there is a 3D rotatable depiction of your card. Cardia even goes above and beyond and shows where borders enforced by a printer will be and how that will affect a card. Out of our thousands of artists making 100s of cards every single day no one has brought up that the print preview is inaccurate. And finally, you said you wanted this app to help seniors 65 and up make cards. Cardia is perfect for that. A good portion of our artist community are seniors and I work with them all the time helping them make their amazing cards. Even one of the five star reviews above is from a gentleman that is 80 years old. We would be happy to work with you to iron out any problems you are having - just send us an email and we will get right on it. UPDATE 09-16-25 With Cardia version 1.502 you can now move and copy parts from card side to another card side or even other cards. Use the standard macOS cut, copy, paste - and even the new lasso tool. We are making marching ants cool again!

I paid and downloaded this app and in 10 minutes was almost done with my card. Took a few minutes to figure out how to move the text box and I'm now printing out 10 photo cards.I DID spend $$$ on another photo app and it took FOREVER - hours and hours to figure out how to use it and then to print the cards which often times printed out wrong. Wasted so much good quality photo paper. This was so straight up SIMPLE!!! I'm back making cards from my own photos and blessing people with them as gifts. A HUGE thank you!!!!!

I have used Cardia for about a week and have been challenged but with Cardia support I soon had the kinks worked out. It is one of the very few softwares I tried that will correctly print on 7 x 10 paper for a 5 x 7 card. It allows one to be creative in making the card. There are no pre-made templates. I like that it works as it should with Mac. One can be creative with this app and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to make their own cards. I tip my hat to the developer of the program.
