I am an independent app developer and I made this app because I couldn’t find a good app on the App Store to catalog my baseball collection. I have worked really hard to provide an app that is both powerful and aesthetically pleasing. The scanner and automatic information detection make Cardstock the easiest way to digitize your collection, the value lookup is the quickest and most accurate way to estimate the true value of your cards, and the ability to share beautiful images of your cards is unrivaled. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, don’t hesitate to email me at kyle.fowler@openbraceapps.com.

Ratings and Reviews
Easy to use, streamlined app
Full disclosure: I don’t know precious little about baseball and even less about baseball cards, but I inherited an album and wanted to understand it better, and reorganize it in a way that made sense to me (by player? Team? Position? Brand? Year?) This app was super helpful in allowing me to do that digitally first. I appreciate how clean the interface is. It does exactly what you need it to do without the frills or invasive advertising of other options. I found I did have to double check the autopopulated info - sometimes it would pull the wrong production year, drop a stat into the card number value, or (depending on font) grab the wrong position (in particular, 1B was read as P and pitcher populated a few times) but a solid 90% of the time it pulled in the correct info. I found I had more fun than expected cataloging the cards I have now, and sorting them different ways. Fun app, well built!
FINALLY! A kid friendly app
My sons love looking up their card collection. I’ve struggled to find a card value app that doesn’t have social media integrations, comment sections, auction/buy now buttons, etc. This app looks up cards, shows the value, tracks your collection, and doesn’t have the fluff I don’t want my kids exposed to. If the developer decides to add it later, my hope is there is a way to disable those features to keep it kid friendly.
I wish there was a way to view subscription tiers. I can’t tell how many cards I can store using the Free option and when I’ll run out.
It scans nicely, cropping the cards near perfectly.
Amazing app but needs an adjustment
Cardstock would be a perfect rating if it compared prices from eBay. Considering that more card sales and bids are made vie eBay, it would make more sense to compare from a site that can give a much more accurate estimated value than a random site that is being used currently for value estimates. Another thing, I wish that this could be more of a social media thing for cards so that different collectors can sell cards and boxes as well as trade individual cards. In addition to this new implementation, Cardstock could eliminate the unlimited feature and make the features free. Their new source of profit would be a minute portion of commission used in payment for cards between collectors.
