Interactive car game for children aged over 2 years.
Many parents find their young children to be particularly fascinated by construction vehicles. We've made it easy and exciting for your child to explore them.
Different types of construction vehicle and road-building machinery are presented as toys in a sandpit, making the process of learning familiar and appealing. Throughout there are lots of beautiful animations, with great video and sound effects. These make clear what each vehicle can do and how it helps people in the real world. All the vehicles are charmingly but accurately depicted, with little surprises such as opening doors and horns which sound.
It is really easy to make vehicles move by touching or tipping the screen. Your child will also be able to do things such as extend the arm of the crane or operate the dumper by simple touches. Each vehicle comes with an involving little mission to complete, such as moving toys around, which will help your child discover what each kind of construction vehicle can do. This exploration will be great for fine motor skills, and success at each stage will be made clear by the award of another gold star.

I thought this app was really cute. My daughter loves it. Since she is a preschooler this will go great with a Transportation Theme or even Community Workers. I love that kids get to move the trucks and use them as if they would in real life. They get a taste of what these vehicles do. They get to have fun doing it too :)
even if your kid loves construction stuff, don't buy this app! The trucks are either unresponsive (don't move when u try to move them) or overly responsive (doors open, crane arms move, etc) when all you are trying to do is make the truck move forward & back. The "jobs" range from so simplistic that your child will have completed them without having really done anything, to aggravatingly impossible given the responsiveness issues already discussed. Plus, there is no scale telling you what level of difficulty each truck will provide until after you have chosen a truck. Nor do the jobs change as you play so once your child has played with say, the dump truck, one time the task will remain the same each time he chooses that truck. Boring on top of aggravating. The graphics are pretty, hence the one star.
I hope it gets better
I think this app is a great idea, but there seem to be a few bugs to work out. My daughter, who is 3, gets frustrated because we can't figure out how to make the trucks stop/start/change directions on command. Its difficult to pick things up with the various claws and hooks because the truck is always moving, and then if we do get something scooped up, it's a struggle to make the truck go where we want it too again. She really doesn't have any interest in playing it at all because of this, but I'm keeping it for a little while in hopes that there is an update that improves the app. I think it could be really neat. Thanks!
