Great game. Still needs some work.

The aiming is rough. Can’t tell how it works. Level 30 and it’s still weird compared to other games of this genre. It doesn’t target “Near” it doesn’t target “Threat” - feels like it locks on to one monster and won’t target anything else until it dies. Really annoying. The skill Merchant needs a rework/aim update too. When you upgrade it once, it shoots to the side and doesn’t even hit anything.

Also in the village, the weird old man upgrade that costs 3 upgrades. Checked out the shop, didn’t see anything changed 👀 is it broken too?

Mr Prevenge, thank you for the review. First of all, merchant skills have an additional effect of increasing the drop rate of materials. Rather than using it on a difficult stage, it's worth it on a stage where you can collect a lot of materials. So the aim is off, so it has a weak effect on the near-field enemy. Tony will give a discount on the store's ingredients in next week's update. I'm sorry. Since we are a small company, we have a problem with the function, so we have stopped the function first. Worst VS-esque game I’ve ever played

Where do I start with…

1. Almost all legendary skills are trash because they have prolonged CD for no good reason and some even transform an easy-to-use skill into total trash (requires casting for example).
2. The enemy generation pattern is terrible for the 5 wave stages. The 5th wave always be enemies constantly spawning, seemingly without upper limit of concurrent enemy instances, from all sides. There is no real skill or fun here, all you need to do is roll a heal skill and max it out, run toward one direction and wait until all enemies finished spawning, then sit there picking enemies off one by one. Just quit if you can’t get a heal skill since you’re most certainly gonna die anyways. This spawning pattern also makes the game frame rate go dead at later worlds as the game starts spawning more than your phone can handle.
3. All enemies except for bosses have very similar hp amount which is very boring.

2 out of 5 may be overrating the game already, but kudos to my sunk cost fallacy buying no ad and the paid character. The paid character has a huge pick-up range greatly trivializing the game since all heal orbs are automatically picked up. It’s fun when it lasts until you observe the patter and stages are just numeric inflations forcing you to endlessly farm better gears.

Frustrating

The pros:
1. The pixel art style is SUPER CUTE! There is a lot of charm here that isn’t in other games with similar play-styles.

2. There are leveling and upgrade systems are interesting enough to keep you logging back in for materials and progression.

The cons:
1. The aim of ranged attacks is nonsensical. It does not follow the direction of your movement. Actually, it doesn't seem to target enemies in any predictable way. Projectiles will spread out and target multiple enemies, doing effectively nothing in large waves.

2. Max upgraded skills are worthless. Upgrading a skill to level 5 turns it into a AOE attack with a massive cooldown. You are swarmed by enemies in the last wave before being able to effectively use the ability. It’s bogus. Casting abilities in general are not usable in higher levels.

3. The spawn pattern of the last waves is ridiculous. There is no strategy. You are surrounded on all sides by a swarm of enemies and have to rush through it, tank damage, heal or die trying.

4. New characters are only accessible through direct purchase. The only free character is the starting one. This isn’t such a big deal, but it would be nice to have one or two characters accessible through missions.
