Settlers of Catan is an EXCITING, strategy, social board game which is played around a RANDOMLY generated boards. NOT all random boards however will be FAIR to play for all players. Catanous is made to HELP with that!
Catanous is fully configurable Catan board generator, helping you setup FAIR games, EASILY and QUICKLY! Now you can play Settlers of Catan with a board which does not give unfair advantages to certain players.
Catanous gives you full control over the board generator engine:
• Ability to choose between random or balanced tiles' placement.
• Ability to choose between random or balanced number tokens' placement.
• Ability to choose between random or standard board's harbors' placement.
• Ability to choose between random or coast side deserts' placement.
PLEASE NOTE:
Catanous is not meant to replace the board game, and does not offer playing functionality on the app. Catanous is meant as a companion app to the board game, which allows you to easily build unique balance boards.

Awesome app
This app is great not only does it generate a map for Catan and the expansion with numbers but it also has a good quality look to it not some clip art trash. I love this app and will not play without it because of how simple it makes the game setup and fairness of gameplay for all players. This app is great, something that would be interesting to add a feature to choose a rare ore gameplay, maybe potentially have a generator for seafarers and other expansions.
No Catan without this app
The game is more fun when the board does not advantage one side. But, as most Catan fans know, the game setup can be tricky if you want to play on a fairly even field. This app makes it simple. Our Catan-addicted family won’t play without it.
A must have
This app is a must have for serious catan players. Having a balanced but also random board makes the game more fun for everyone
