Not ready for prime time

This app has been unreliable and useless. I purchased a monthly pass on the 18th of the prior month. No pop up acknowledging the purchase was successful or not. I had to check with my credit card to verify the purchase went through. The pass did not show up until later during the first week of the month. Luckily I was on vacation that week and didn’t need the pass. I’m into my second month of using the app. It’s now the 22nd and the next month passes are not showing up for sale even though they’re supposed to be available for sale after the 20th. The paper passes are available online after the 16th. Go figure. I get conflicting information from technical support, depending on who assists you. I don’t trust this app or the expertise of those behind it.

Easy and convenient

This is easier to use than buying at the station. It stores your credit card so you don’t have to enter the card again. You can buy any type of card in any amount and use two or more at one time if traveling as a couple or family. Each person does not have to have a ticket.

Very easy to learn once you establish an account.

I learned the hard way that you cannot add more than 2 credit/debit cards at a time, not only that, if you try to delete up to 2 forms of payment (I lost my wallet so I needed to get ALL my credit/debit cards replaced), that your account will be restricted for SIX MONTHS!!! This is ridiculous, and there is no reason that should happen. I had to call CATS and beg to please have them release my account so I could use it, because I use it to go to and from work every day, and they agreed to a ONE time courtesy release, but if I had to remove and replace cards again, it would be a SIX MONTH RESTRICTION once again. There should be no reason for this, security or no security excuse. ALSO, how about a BUS PASS OPTION? That would be AWESOME!!!
