The app works but...
Has some minor bugs that need to be worked out. For Example, Have to frequently save the widget settings. Setting for Fahrenheit instead of Celsius, Later will sign back in and the widget will be back on Celsius again. Other then that it’s easy to connect to sensors and communicate with the Raspberry PI.
Using this app to monitor and control temperature in a cold storage for commercial purpose( Used Blynk before). This app is seamlessly easy to use and very fluid as in next to nil ping time unlike Blynk. The user interface is pleasant and you don’t need a programming degree to use and customize according to you need. Till now has not failed me or crashed on me as of yet. Highly recommend for projects where reliability is key.
No updates for the buggy software in over a year.
The UI is nice. But it’s very very buggy. And the fact that there has not been an update for over a year. Gives me the impression that this app might be dead. You would think that with a company as big as my devices. There would be some improvement by now. But yet nothing in over a year. I guess it’s time to move to other apps that are out there.
Here’s an idea open source the app. Then we will see some improvements.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
