CBP Link is a mobile application that grants you access to a variety of services provided by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), including:
• Check Border Wait Times: Use the app to check estimated wait times and open lane status 24/7 at land ports of entry.
• Apply for a Provisional I-94: The I-94 Entry feature allows travelers to apply for a provisional I-94 prior to arriving at a land border crossing. Travelers who apply for their I-94 ahead of time will experience faster processing times to expedite entry. Travelers can also quickly access their current I-94 submission to view critical information such as, how long they can remain in the U.S., and use it for proof of visitor status once in the United States.
• Request an Inspection of Agriculture or Biological Products: If you are a traveler arriving at an airport of entry, you can request an inspection of biological materials, cleaning and disinfection of shoes worn on a farm or near livestock, or food items (e.g. fresh fruits and vegetables, meats), live animals (pets, service animals, emotional support animals), or hunting trophies.
• Submit a Travelers Manifest for Bus Operators: Create and submit an advance traveler manifest in compliance with the advance passenger information systems requirements.
Through a series of guided questions, the app directs you to the appropriate services based on your needs. The CBP Link mobile application is FREE to use and available to everyone who has access to a mobile device.

Really bad to get an appointment
The app has several bugs that need to be corrected, in our case we are a Cuban family that was stranded in Mexico with 2 minors since December 29, there are 4 of us in total. We have been trying to get an appointment at the border for more than 10 days but it always gives a different error, we have even completed the entire process, and when we finish after capturing even the photo tells us that there is no capacity to serve 4 people. I think they should look for a mechanism to solve those issues or at least prioritize those who, like us, stay in Mexico before January 5.
A Must Have App for Travelers! Save Time and Stay Compliant!
The CBP Home app is a real time-saver and a great tool for anyone traveling to or from the United States. It allows you to complete your I-94 form in advance, scan your ID or passport, and save valuable time before arriving at the airport or border. One of the most useful features is the ability to review your travel history or report your departure especially in situations like using the Cross Border Express (CBX), where there’s often no clear way to officially record your exit from the U.S.
By reporting your departure through the app, you help avoid future issues with your tourist or business visa. The app also provides access to other important immigration and visitor information, making it a very handy and easy-to-use tool for both arrivals and departures. Overall, the CBP Home app is highly recommended for anyone looking to save time, stay organized, and ensure compliance with U.S. immigration requirements.
A family of 4 people, after the update, we cannot enroll in Mexico City.
The application has not been working for the third day. Please speed up your update. After the last update 2.43 gives an error that I am far from the border, but the previous version gave me to look for dates from Mexico City. And today the 2.44 update was released, it's a nightmare how long it will last, why it's impossible to find dates after each update. We have to wait so many days and weeks to get a date . Please do everything possible so that everything starts working as soon as possible and you can enter your date without errors. A family of 4 people, after the update, we cannot enroll in Mexico City.
