Commercial Bank Mobile Banking uses state of the art security measures. We have added new security measures in the app’s latest version to comply with Qatar Central Bank’s regulations. For our users’ convenience, we have provided an option on screen to enter a mobile number if they have trouble receiving the SMS, this can be an international number. To protect the user’s account, the customer will receive a call back to verify the request of updating the mobile number. However, customers may choose to call us directly at +974 4449 0000 or visit the nearest Commercial Bank branch if it is more convenient and if they are currently in Qatar.

Bug fixes and performance improvements

Good, but needs fixing.
The CBQ app is a great app for managing my bank account but just a few things need to be fixed to make the experience much more fluid and effective such as adding support for the Face ID for iPhone X and also the new screen ratio for the iPhone X.
Please fix these few things and it will be such a great app experience.
NOT Perfect, Yet!
I’ve been waiting for an update to fix the OTP SMS issue I have been facing for months, I do not understand why the bank never take inconsideration that most people might be travelling and change their SIM cards when they do! Having to link your account to only your mobile number is unwise. I hope developer give an option of receiving OPT via SMS or Email to the mobile phone number /email you have registered with CBQ as per option the customer have requested.
I have an ATM card that I can’t use, and online account I can’t access because I do NOT receive an OTP via SMS!! I complained several times to the bank and got NO-WHERE! I receive email updates regarding my monthly statement but no SMS AT ALL!
The fund transfer cannot be processed...how long will it take? Then there’s a huge difference in the exchange rates with the bank...can you please solve this too? Any way, it’s a great app to trust. Big up!
