Train. Shoot. Log. Details Matter.

“This is the most useful app I have downloaded since purchasing a smartphone 3 years ago. As a police sniper and firearms instructor I know the importance of training and round documentation. This app allows me to document rounds fired and training for all off duty guns, as well as, a backup registry for firearms. Nicely done app creators! This is going to save someone a couple of $$$ when the inevitable lawsuit is filed. ” - Sierra

“I feel obligated to say that I have been utterly amazed at how user-friendly it is as well as innovative. I especially enjoy the notes section at the end of the training log form where one is able to describe how the day of training went. I also think the option to add pictures of the targets or just memories from the training itself is an excellent feature. I look forward to continue training and learning with it.” - Philip F.

Log your weapons and training in a snap with CCW Guardian. We’ve designed it for in-the-field use with large text and simple navigation. Focus on your training, don’t waste time fumbling with your phone.

World class personal defense instructor, David Reed, led the team to create an easy-to-use app that captures everything you need from the range.

Nobody wants to face a confrontation. But if that happens, demonstrating preparedness and proficiency can be critical in litigation. CCW Guardian provides weapons and training logs, should you ever find yourself in a contentious situation following an incident.

You could do it with pen and paper, and a camera, and a weather station, and a map. But would you? Your iPhone has the power to capture everything you need, including unlimited photos, location and weather!

CCW Guardian is secure. Without a username and password you can’t access the logged information. Multiple users, one device? No problem!

“This is the first time I’ve downloaded an app where the the person responsible for making the app has asked for comments.” - RGBoyce

We take your opinion so seriously that we’ve made collecting feedback one of the primary features of CCW Guardian.

CCW Guardian has been in the field for a year. We’ve made numerous improvements based upon our members recommendations.

After all, what good is an app if it doesn’t do what you need it to do?

Stopped Synching

I have used this app very successfully for the past several years. Since I shoot a lot and carry concealed all the time, the app is a very useful tool for me. I like it a lot.

One of the best features of the app is the ability to sync my Range sessions. It is HUGE in the event of a deadly force/self defense incident. I train weekly.

Recently, the app stopped synching for me. The error message states the app is having trouble connecting to the CCW servers. The problem is at CCW’s end. There’s nothing wrong with my data, on line or network connections.

I have transmitted an email to the developer a few weeks ago. It went unanswered. I also sent them a memo from within the app.
At this writing, it is unanswered.

I really want this issue corrected soon. For now 2.5-3 stars. Should be 5 stars.

Hoping this can be addressed and fixed, soon.

For Beginners

I just started in the shooting world in order to get my CCW. I started about 2.5 months ago by searching the internet/YouTube looking for sites that concentrated on CCW.
I lucked on the Guardian site. The site provided me, a total rookie, with the basic information I needed to start the training required to start shooting. Safety training for guns, gun reviews, how to shoot, from stance to pulling the trigger.
Their site provided an avenue to an IPhone app for CCW training. I received a 10-day free trial to the app. After studying the app for a few days, I realized this is what I had been searching the web to find. The price for a year is very cheap for what you receive. You can store gun information, CCW info, record and log training, read gun reviews and much more.
I am not good at keeping a written diary on gun training, but have no trouble using their app to record my training sessions.

So in conclusion, sign up for the app. Best money you will spend to start you CCW training, or just to start and record you entry in to the world of shooting. The price of the app is cheaper than a one hour shooting lesson at the range and can be used over and over.

App Stopped Syncing with Server

App stopped syncing 88 days ago. Please address this or at least acknowledge there is an issue. Paying for an app with no support is frustrating. Been using it for quite some time. Hopefully is fixed soon.
