For active use of the app outdoors during CE5 work where connectivity may be limited, version 1.5 and later includes offline mode for the CE5 Process section as well as local storage of previously visited pages or played/downloaded content.
Certain sections of the app require an active internet connection, including user sign-up / profile editing, networking, and messaging.
CE5 Contact replaces the older “ET Contact” app. You may continue to use the older app but new features and updates (including networking, new meditations, sounds, examples, etc.) will be added to CE5 Contact app only.

The tones in the library tab do not play
So I first downloaded this app last year after watching Dr Greer’s documentary, Close Encounters of the 5th Kind Contact has begun. And it changed my life! I literally used it 2-5 times a week and have had amazing results with picture and video evidence. But now the other tones in the library tab do not work, the Fibonacci, the logo in 3D, Mt Shasta. They will not play anymore. They used to play but they stopped playing a month or so ago. And I have automatic updates so it’s up to date. I wish there was something I could do because I love this app. So it gets 3/5 stars. It would get 5/5 stars if the tones would play! The tones are so important and have been a major contributor to my contact that I’ve made.

Nikki - after you update to the latest version (1.63), try going to Settings and then tap the "Clear Downloaded Content" button. See if that fixes the issue and if not, please get in touch with us: firstname.lastname@example.org
After watching the information available I was very excited to purchase this app. Despite it being one of the most expensive being offered I felt it was a good investment. I have been sadly disappointed with it. The only feature that I can not find for myself for free is the community networking portion which is the single most useful part of the app. Sadly it is not very user friendly or very used. It has no community or group feature to use. I had such high hopes and think anyone that purchased this app did as well. Entering this time we need each other and need community support. Of all the apps available this should be offering more than it does. Gravely disappointed when there are notifications of updates that are minimal in change. After having owned it for months and checking frequently to see new content nothing significant has changed. It feels like a rip off.

Hi Southernsibe - a few points: (1) we just issued a new version of the app with several updates. (2) we're working on the map to make it easier to connect, while continuing to address privacy concerns. (3) the app is not meant [in current form] to be a group discussion board and most users have indicated that after they find a few connections, they use other tools to communicate/coordinate as a group. That said, we are looking into how to make things easier for users along these lines.
Great App! *AUDIO ISSUES FIX
When I first downloaded the app I was having similar issues, as some, with the audio. Some apps have trouble playing audio when other apps are open that may also play audio/video. Even if they aren’t in use. Close the CE5 app along with any other apps you have running in the background. Reopen the CE5 app and the audio should work without issue. Hope this helps!
As far as the app goes it’s great! Life changing. Would love if the networking section had a place where we could organize meetups and events. Seems like it inevitably would. Excited to see how the app evolves going forward!
