Cecilia is set in an immersive outer space environment, among the stars, traversed by the player on an alien ship across the universe. Each training game session corresponds to a shuttle between stars and star systems, planets and galaxies. The attentive player will get to learn the names of heavenly bodies and the constellations to which they belong, in addition to enjoying the reflective, or if you will, the meditative hints embodied in the music titles and ushered by the ambience of space and sounds in the games.

Through interaction with the game settings, and by looking out for answer feedbacks and hints during gameplay, you will gradually gain a deeper mastery of music theory including the workings of chords and scales, leading up to the mastery of the entire chord vocabulary and all the important scales that are based on the Western music system.

Cecilia offers over 150 premium music instruments and exotic sound effects so you can choose your preferred instruments and sounds. Switching up your musical instruments enables an even deeper and more versatile perfect pitch ability.

In the Levels Mode within the app, you will explore perfect pitch training through carefully curated game selections and game configurations that allow you to learn gradually and methodically over time through incrementally richer and challenging levels of play.

On the other hand, the Practice Mode offers freedom to configure and setup each game as you wish, allowing you to choose the notes, scales and chords that form the basis of the melodic transcription games. You can also choose the number of notes in any given melody, select whether you wish to transcribe harmonies or arpeggios, select whether you prefer a simple monotonic rhythm or a more colourful variation of rhythms. Finally you can set your own rhythm tempo for a high paced melodic dictation or a moderate, more relaxed tempo.
