It uses Apple Intelligence for fast, private, system-level insights—summaries, writing tools, smart replies, and personal context—while also letting the user connect to their own Ollama server for deeper, customizable model interactions.
Users can choose between Apple Intelligence or any model running on their Ollama host, switching on the fly depending on their task. Whether they want secure on-device help or to tap into open-source models like Llama, Mistral, or Phi, the app makes it seamless. Conversations stay private, processing happens locally or on the user’s own server, and no data is shared without permission.
