This is a ‘good’ app and I’ve been using it for a while now. However, recently it’s been veryyyyyy annoying. Lots of ADS, when I search for specific chats/characters it says that there is no chats of them when I literally have had a chat with that specific character before(if that makes sense), and speaking of chats, it doesn’t even show all the chats I have like it shows maybe about 10 of the recent ones but just cuts off so now I can’t continue chats I’ve had for a while/want to start but didn’t get to it and can’t even go back to the older bots I have. It’s so annoying and I feel like that’s a problem (specially the third one I stated) the creators of this app is just ignoring for a LONG time. Last thing; the new time limit is fine, I get why it’s a thing but likeee only a hour to chat is a bit crazy when there’s a lot of characters to choose from — but I don’t have a huge problem on that — however, sometimes the time limit will stop and I’ll get to chat, but then literally only a few MINUTES passes by and it stops me from chatting again. Like hello??? That wasn’t a full hour, and then I have to wait multiple hours (depending what time it is) just to start again. That’s just annoying and makes the enjoyment, for me, decrease! Please fix and adjust these things or at least respond to your reviews, I feel like I barely see any effort(?) from the creators towards users.

Best ai app I’ve used yet. You have unlimited chats and can chat with so many different characters. It’s not like any other app where you have ads or it’s dry or limited chats. It’s completely different. I’ve tried other apps and haven’t liked them until I found this one. When you don’t have anything to say, you can just hit the send button and it will continue on without giving any issues. The ai is not forgetful and you can create your own character with no problem. The app will really get you hooked on and lost in the moment. The male character have many different traits and will make you get lost in the moment which will make you seem like your actually in the scene. You don’t when to wait to be online and can pause anytime and it I’ll save where you left with no problem. Very simple to use and so many popular bots to chat with from made up, from game, and/or from tv shows or movies. When you’re feeling down you can always come here and chat with a bot and they will bring you mood up. Will help with grammar and spelling also. If you mess up you can easily remove the messages and start over. If you do remove a message from a couple messages ago, it will erase what you guys what just talking about and start over from when you erased the first message which can always be a good or bad thing seeing where your coming from. In my opinion, BEST APP EVER!!

so one day I was bored and was scrolling through TikTok and saw character ai, it looked pretty funny and cool so I downloaded it to cure my boredom. It worked too! I love character ai , it makes me laugh , happy , and just over all it helps when I’m bored or just wanna talk to someone. (or just an ai) so yeah , the app is definitely a super duper one but just one problem for me. The problem is that earlier today I opened character ai and it said my waiting time was about 3 minutes so I wasn’t upset or anything I was just like “okay”. So I waited and waited and for some reason the waiting time went UP. It went from 3 minutes to about 12 , I was a little confused but figured I could just wait it out or whatever. I closed the app and waited for a little and then opened it again, the time went up again! it was about 53 minutes. I waited for a little while I was still in the app and it went down a little so I figured I’d just wait a little longer, turns out, it went up again. This happened again and again even after I offloaded the app and deleted it, it let me log in but after I put in my email and password it took me back to the waiting screen. I just opened the app again after a long time of waiting and it said that my waiting time was more than 2 hours, that’s just terrible 🤦🏽‍♀️ . Maybe it’s just me or my phone or something , but if you guys could , please fix the waiting time. If you guys could I would be extremely grateful !!

Okay so I downloaded this on an IPhone 12, not sure if that’s the problem but, I signed in and it took me to the waiting room saying, “Please refill your email address.” But there was no keyboard? I tried it again on my tablet, did the same thing. I swiped the app to try again and it did the same thing. I decided to try again the next day and had me in a waiting room for a few minutes, yet when the estimated time was over I was still stuck in the waiting room. Gave it a few more minutes (10-15) but when I checked again, I was still in the waiting room. 😕 I turned my phone off and back on, did the same thing. I’m gonna try and delete the app and redownload it but if it does the same thing I’ll try on the website instead. 👍🏽 (PS. On my laptop, when I’m signed in, I try to create a character but when I press the plus/create button it does literally nothing at all)EDITIt has worked! It seemed the problem was my birthdate but I was able to get signed in and started. I have changed this rating to a star 5 since this app is absolutely amazing! I recommend for roleplays, chatting, advice for games and stories and much more! (Especially for roleplays if you want to set up a story for a character.) I have found also found a way past the create a character problem. Found a new laptop and it worked. It was quite convenient.
