You can wipe yourself with the instructions

Apparently the instructions for installers provide you a link to this app claiming you can set breaker settings, it’s just a ploy to get you to enter your personal information. The app doesn’t work at all, it is non functional. You can literally wipe yourself with the instructions. Just get the homeowner to set up an account with the charge point app and do it the stupid way.

Total garbage

I cannot possibly emphasize enough how poorly written the entire software stack is for the home flex charger. This app in particular is full of bugs. My charger “forgets” its current setting every few months and it takes a good hour or so of just trying and failing to get this absolute dumpster fire of an app to work so I can set the breaker amperage again.

Works Great So Far

App works great so far. No bugs, at least I don’t think I’ve found any. However I did come across a VOLVO branded ChargePoint that I was unable to connect to. I got a message saying something like “unit not compatible” or something like that.
