Charm is a little companion app for Twitter.

Organise your favourite Tweets into collections, save articles for later, cue up playlists of music you find, or transcribe conversations.

Tell stories, jokes, capture Tweetstorms and monologues. Charm has features to curate Tweets from events you’re watching, too.

Charm is a tool that works with the Twitter apps you already use. Whether reading through Twitter’s app, Tweetbot, Twitterrific, the Twitter website, or any other tool, Charm’s system-wide activity extension lets you use collections.

Collections are a native Twitter feature; people don’t need Charm to see or share them. Charm helps you share them through Twitter’s app and website. You can even embed them on the web using Twitter’s publishing tools.

Twitter is a non-stop glimpse into what’s happening in the world, and Charm is a tool that helps make sense of it, for yourself or to share with others.

What’s New

Version 1.1

Charm 1.1 adds powerful tools for quick and easy Tweet curation with collections.

Browse and search Twitter from inside the app, select multiple Tweets from the results, then add them to a collection in a single tap. Just hit the new “search” icon in the toolbar to get started, enter search terms or pick from your timelines, lists, and saved searches on Twitter.

The new curation tool also lets you find and append Tweets directly into an existing collection. Update live events with just a tap.

When collecting a single Tweet, you can now switch to that user's entire profile to grab multiple Tweets from that author in one pass, or view a whole thread history to collect conversations and tweetstorms in one action.

You can now reorder Tweets in collections. Optimise the reading order, group together related commentary, tweak the order to add context or readability. Charm now helps you present a collection exactly as your want it.

The result of all this is that you’ll be able to grab more Tweets in less taps, inside the app or in the extension. Charm 1.1 is fitter, happier, and more productive.

* Multi-line descriptions are now legible in the main index and collection views.
* Network errors on start-up will no longer result in a confusing message that you “have no collections”, even when you do.
* “@” and “#” prefixes on collection names will now sort alphabetically.
* Favourites timeline now infinitely scrolls.
* Fixed a bug when collecting retweets. The underlying Tweet will now be added to a collection as expected.
* Technicolour.

Easy to Make, Edit Collections Now

This app is easier to use than Tweetdeck for making and editing Collections. Click any tweet > Share > add to a Collection. Great for collecting and sharing tweetstorms, your own best-of tweets or anything else you want to curate. Can display tweets in various order and rearrange later.

Twitter companion app

Elegantly adds the ability to create and manage Twitter Collections on mobile.

Have used it to gather and share resources for workshops. And will use it to track topical discussion items for a university class I teach.

A great tool for Twitter power users.

Great capture method

This is a great way to save the tweets that you may need to refer to later. Whether it's a movie, book, app, or product recommendation or a some other useful thing that may be handy later.
