Dear charts we love your app it’s Been so helpful with youth band at my church I wish there was a way to save changes on my device only. Sometimes I want to make some chord changes but I don’t because I don’t want to mess things up for the base player for example can there be a way for me to make chord changes that only show on my device
Despite lacking a few features (printing, library organization, etc.), this app gets all the essentials of a music stand with on-the-fly edits just right. It’s much better than many other apps in the same category. Love the 2-page display and ChordPro editor features. Would love to see support for Lead sheets and custom triggers (tap to go to next page, for instance). Update: Been using this for more than a year or two now. They’ve added a lot of features, like printing and Lead/Vocal sheets from SongSelect—it’s hard to find anything to fault aside from the occasional loading glitch (rare). The only 2 features left on my wishlist would be the ability to link two devices to show more pages simultaneously—e.g. add a linked device to show +1 or +2 pages, and the a “campfire” mode where you could pull up any song (library or SongSelect or wherever) and jump right into it without having to add it to a service first. This would be useful in smaller settings where you might take requests from people. Maybe that would just be “open Preview” within the normal interface (with key change, capo, etc.).
I love Charts for the way we can find and play most of the songs we like to play in our worship service. I also love that in existing songs that you can find in the song library it’s possible to change the key that it’s in. I gave a 4 star instead of a 5 star because there was a song I wanted to play through charts that wasn’t listed in the song library. So I thought I would try the Create New option. The tutorial made sense and I was able to type in the format of the song I wanted, and I hit save and it closed the chord editor and it was on the first screen where it has the song name and artist name. I hit save from there and nothing seemed to happen, no acknowledgement message or change of screen. So I tried searching for it in the song library, but it didn’t show up. Which makes me think that it didn’t save the song I entered, “Suelto.”If the developers would please look into this I would greatly appreciate it!
This FREE WORSHIP software integrates with CCLI SongSelect smoothly without stressing over the ‘how to’ It just works! And works great! We quite often change key to suit whoever is singing and the update in this app is on the fly and so fluid you can literally see the update in real-time, wow! This app is one of 3 main apps by WORSHIP TOOLS - all of which are offered FREE and they coordinate with each other to provide a smooth delivery of our Worship services. When you set a date and select a song, it populates in the Presentor app for on-screen display during Worship. The Planning app allows you to setup users for access and add songs to your library as well as schedule people to serve in different capacities - such as usher etc. Overall we’ve been blown away at what an upgrade this software package has been - so much I had to write this review.
I’m the Music Director of my church and I had been looking for a data base for my Worship Team. In this app, I have the chords, lyrics, videos/audio reference in one place! Can instantly change Keys in a song if need be and saves us a ton of time in rehearsals.During a Sunday service, one of the Elders asks us to sing a song that we knew but was not planned for that day. The moment I added the song true the app, the lyrics of the song were already available in “Presenter” to present in the screen. In the tablet of the Bass player the song quickly appeared in the app with the key we play it. In summary, it is a great investment! The cloud-based app is just incredible and easy to use! Highly recommended!
We use the Tithely/Elvanto suite and they recently discontinued their worship app. Now that OnSong is charging, it wasn’t worth it for me since I only play occasionally. So I went looking for a chord sheet app that would work with Song Select. I tried this one and it was so easy and intuitive to use. Worked out great to add the songs in for this week both from Song Select, and a PDF file for a song that‘s not on Song Select. The only critique I have is that the annotations with Apple Pencil don’t work so easy. It’s one stroke, and then I have to take the pencil off the screen and then do another stroke. Other than that, it works great.
