Chatter lets you chat with and build artificial intelligence (AI) powered 'Chatter Bots'. These Chatter Bots can be based on real or fictional people or characters.

It's extremely quick and easy to build Chatter Bots. These bots can have personality traits, descriptions and typical statements that you can suggest. You can build and share bots with your friends or with everyone on the Chatter platform.

Do remember - everything that ChatterBots say is powered by AI. So they can be entertaining and useful in many ways. But the information they provide may not always be true.

With the Chatter App, you can:

Explore - View ChatterBots made by different users on this screen. By clicking on any ChatterBot, you can directly start chatting with that person or character. All chats are powered by AI as per this person or character’s personality

Chats - All your ongoing chats are saved on the ‘Chats’ screen. You can continue your chat with any of the characters directly from this screen also. You’ll need to sign in to see your chat history.

Chat Screen - The chat screen lets you chat with each character. This screen can be reached by clicking on any character’s image.You can ‘like’ the ChatterBot from this screen by clicking on the ‘thumbs up’ icon on the top right. You can also share the ChatterBot with anyone by clicking on the ‘share’ icon in the top right. You can also share your current (ongoing) chat with anyone so they can also view and enjoy your chat. And you can refresh the chat from the ‘refresh’ icon on the top right to to start the chat afresh.

Create - After signing in, create ChatterBots on anyone or anything!. These can be based on any person or character - it could be friends, celebrities or anything that you imagine. Upload a picture and give a name and a brief description of your ChatterBot. Also give it an initial greeting (to greet users) and a personality. You can keep ChatterBots public (for everyone to interact with), or unlisted (so you could share with only those you want), or private (which you would not be able to share with anyone).

You can also explore advanced options for your ChatterBot, where you can give a detailed description of your ChatterBot, and specify typical lines that your bot speaks. The Chatter App will learn from your inputs and your bot will chat with users in this manner. Additionally, you can specify the typical response length for your bot’s answers, and provide the user with a few typical replies that they can give to your ChatterBot’s initial greeting.

Remember - you can create a ChatterBot just by giving a name and edit it later from your ‘Profile’ screen to give it an image, a personality and more details. And the more details you give, the more accurately the bot will behave as per your description!

Profile - This screen lists all the ChatterBots created by you on different tabs - public, unlisted and private.. You can edit each ChatterBot from this screen.
