Very Good
A very nice chess database program. One of the better ones I have seen on OS X. Not quite as polished as Hiarcs Chess Explorer which is far more expensive, or ChessX and I have only used it a short time but I haven’t seen any major issues. I would like to see the ability to install additional chess engines such as Komodo. The PGN parsing is excellent. The notation display is also excellent. Multiple variations and null moves are both well supported.

This is a very fine program and it's fun and simple too!
I tried the sample of this for more than a year, then purchased the full program. It's complete, written thoughtfully, and has a really nice choice of chess sets and boards on the "settings" portion as well.
The books and tactics that can be downloaded are substantial and helpful! One can play against "beginner's AI" , "Club Player AI", all the way up to really substantial IM level. I would recommend this to chess enthusiasts of all ages and skills!
A great puzzle presenter/tester
I use this app as a puzzle presenter/tester, using the excellent content you can download for it, for example, The Manual of Chess Calculation, Volumes 1 and 2, which, while written for Russian school children, it terrific content. MUCH MUCH BETTER than Puzzle Rush.
