Good Purchase, Could Be Improved

I was looking for a simple and elegant countdown timer to help me stay on track at work because I have the attention span of a squirrel. I like the minimalast design, it’s not distracting on my desktop and the chime is very pleasant. I was hoping to find a timer that had a bit more functionality to it--like a stopwatch, multiple timers, and multiple design options--but everything I’ve found in the App Store either look very tacky or have equally limited functions. All in all, this surves my purposes well, except for the fact that I’ve already waisted 6 minutes writing this review! GET BACK TO WORK!!!!

Another App Destroyed by System Software Updates

I used to have this app. I loved it. It was basic and easy to use. I could determine how long I wanted to work and get a nice little chime sound. But tech companies have apparently never heard the phrase, "If it ain't broke, don't 'fix' it." I NEVER update software. NEVER. But my MacBook Pro needed to be fixed, and they installed this horrible Catalina, so it was forced on me. Every time there is a Mac OS or iOS "upgrade," I lose apps I love or they are changed to be so complex that they aren't worth learning to use. How many hours of productivity are WASTED on learning to do something we already knew how to do because tech companies have to "upgrade" software, which is little more than engineered obsolescence that requires purchasing new hardware that costs a fortune? Why do corporations that complain about employees taking some time to talk to each other put up with this crap, which is a much bigger waste of time?

Simple & Just What I Needed ...

I’ve been looking for a simple timer that sits in the menu bar. I believe I’ve found what I’ve always wanted. You can start it at login & it finds its place in the menu bar. You can click the icon & choose one of the preset timers; and it shows you at a glance where you are in the time cycle relatively speaking. You can set it to be always on top or not. You can also set it to hide or not. HIding leaves only the menu bar icon … always on display. Those are the only two preferences. The preset times are what is generally needed. It would be nice to be able to set other timers; but for my purposes this will be fine. THANK YOU.
