Excellent app! Dumpy level user’s friend.
I’m an archaeologist and was looking for something to calculate elevations while using a dumpy level on site. This is an excellent app and speeds up calculating so I can get on to other work faster. I’ve only bought the one year, but will definitely pay for a lifetime subscription when it ends. $35 is pricey for an app, but it works and that’s worth it over years of excavation.

Seemed like a great app when I first looked at it, but once you open it you see all the fees that you have to pay. There’s a lot of apps out there that do a lot more than this one. I would have bought the app but I don’t like paying reoccurring fees.

Pricing is a topic we think a lot about and is reviewed every few months. In pricing the app we wanted to ensure we were building a sustainable business that could afford to offer regular updates. We know that many people (ourselves included) don't like recurring fees and would prefer to pay once. That is why we do offer a one time purchase. While it has been suggested that the app is rather expensive, it is priced to roughly be less than the cost of a cup of coffee a month. Given the amount that we know people make using the app we feel that is reasonable. Hopefully, one day once we cover the tens of thousands of dollars the app cost to develop we will be in a position to offer a cheaper price.
