Description

An app to distract young children for a few minutes, and irritate their parents. My grandkids love Thomas the Tank Engine and the train sounds from the show.

I wrote a simple app for my grandchildren, that love Thomas the Tank Engine. It has three animated buttons with real sound tracks of a bell from a steam locomotive, steam whistle and a diesel engine air horn. There are some new animations that zoom across and surprise them. I will add more as I get time. The phone also vibrates with the sounds. That can be turned off in the settings window. Go to the settings menu for the app in the setting app. Some might argue that this should be a free app but anything that can distract my 5 and under grandchildren for a few minutes at the checkout is worth $.99. It also comes with a watch app enabled. This is primarily designed for the iPhone so any weirdness with the iPad I will resolve when I get time.

What’s New

Version 1.1

I added some new animations that zoom across the screen. My 4 and under grandkids love it. I also made sure that the settings were there. They are. If you don't have the sound on, the little switch on the side, the sound won't work on the newer phones.

Waste of 99 cents.

The only thing that shows up are 3 very simple animations but no sounds at all. The developer says you can turn the sounds off in settings, but guess what. There are no settings.

Worked great for me!

My grand kids are totally into trains, they loved playing with this. They always ask for my phone to play with it. Sound and animations all worked great. Only time sound didn’t work was when the sound in my phone was turned off which makes sense. Kids figured out you can press all three horns at the same time to watch animations all at once too. Cute, simple app. We like it!

Love it!

My kids love this app! It’s so fun for them to hear real train sounds and be able to control the trains going back and forth. For the reviewer that said there was no sound and no setting options, you have to go to your PHONE’S settings, not the game’s. Just make sure the switch on the side of your phone is on...like you'd have it if you wanted to hear your phone ring as opposed to just vibrate.
