Description
The Chow Match App uses matching logic to connect donated surplus food with organizations. Food donated by restaurants, super markets, caterers, farms, and other businesses is distributed to agencies and organizations such as family shelters, homeless shelters, neighborhood feeding programs, churches, schools, 100% affordable housing programs, and many other outreach programs.

Nice Concept, Doesn’t Work
The concept of the page is nice, but the app simply doesn’t work. I followed the directions, and signed up, and then I signed in. You log in, and the “Get Started” area doesn’t work. I tried exiting the app, deleting, and downloading it again, and it’s still frozen. There is a phone number, and Email to contact, but that’s it. The app doesn’t do anything, except rest as a screensaver when you open it.

The developer, Tod Hing, has not provided details about its privacy practices and handling of data to Apple.
