This application provides a searchable library of the most universally used Christian creeds, confessions and catechisms of the Continental Reformed and English Presbyterian churches. Included by default are the three ancient creeds (the Apostles' Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Athanasian Creed); the 'Three Forms of Unity' (the Belgic Confession, the Heidelberg Catechism, and the Canons of Dort); and the Westminster Standards (the Westminster Confession and the Shorter and Larger Catechisms.) Many additional documents may be downloaded from within the application, including a number from non-Reformed traditions. Any scripture references provided in the original document are hyperlinked and may be viewed within the app itself (KJV), or by linking to a user-specified native bible app or external web site. A full-text search capability (with editable search history) allows you to instantly find words, phrases and scripture references within a single document or across the entire library. This application will help anyone better understand and appreciate the depth and richness of the Christian faith as it has been historically understood.

This is app clean and easy to use, and has added tons of confessional literature over time. By default, you can read the most well-known ecumenical creeds, the 3 Forms of Unity, and the Westminster Standards. But you can also add (using “Manage Documents”) much more from the Lutheran, Anglican, and Baptist traditions. There’s a lot here that I’ve never heard of! And it is free.Many thanks go out to the developer James H. Price, who has clearly listened to his users. If you want to grow in your knowledge of the Bible while staying connected with your historical forbears, this is the perfect app.

I am incredibly thankful for this app! I previously paid for a standalone app which provided only one Reformed confession of faith. However this app contains that confession and many other historic documents as well, all in a much nicer interface. It also allows Bible verses to be looked up in your choice of versions on the web, or in your favorite app. It's a great tool, and I'm grateful for the author's fine work!

This app has great resources. I love that you can add to the list of pre-listed documents. The search feature is excellent. I also love that you can link your favorite Bible app, so you can quickly check the Bible verse references in the footnotes. This is the only creeds and confessions app that I recommend to my friends.

Glad to see the recent updates, especially helpful is retaining the current position in all documents. A tip for those down-voting the app because it’s “missing” some favored document — see Settings, Manage Documents, View Available Documents — it’s probably there.
