Description

The Christian Living Accountability Partner application was developed to help Christians grow in godliness and cultivate biblical habits. Simply set your profile, and the app will prompt you with a specific question to answer, similar to that from an accountability partner.

If you are struggling with a particular sin, you can find the Scripture reference related to it, request prayer, or even correspond with another Christian. There is a “Scripture by Subject” section to help you easily find verses related to any issue.

CLAP also has an option that enables you to add others to your personal prayer list. You may also add a request to a public prayer list where anyone with the app can view your request. Imagine never forgetting to pray for someone again!

If you are looking to grow in godliness and develop biblical habits, then the CLAP APP is for you!

Great idea! Not entirely functional

I love the idea behind this and I want to be able to use it well. After setting up a profile, I was met with 4 tabs on the app. The first is a personal prayer list that is easy to use, simply tap the add button and fill in information on who and what you want to pray for and how often. Wonderful! The last is a community tab that has prayer requests from others! Great! Except... I don’t always know what I’m praying for because the banners will say “[User] is struggling with [problem]” and if the text is longer than the banner you may only know that “[User] is struggling wi...” Changing the orientation of my iPhones display from portrait to landscape does not change the banner length either. I absolutely believe in the power of prayer but would love to support people in more solidarity by giving specific prayer. The middle two tabs are “What are you struggling with?” and “Scriptures.” Neither of them has any functionality whatsoever that I have been able to access other than to look very beautiful. I feel certain that the reason this doesn’t work well is because I am operating on iOS 13.3, and I just feel like the app must not be updated for functionality on the later versions iOS. I just hope it might get an update at some point to address these problems. And maybe a walkthrough or guide screen at the beginning to help people get started!
